I’m Nena Lara, a Licensed Insurance Agent with the Weedin Agency, proudly serving individuals, families, and small businesses across Colorado. I’m a Colorado native, born and raised in Longmont, and I love working in the same community that shaped who I am today.

My professional background is a unique mix of nursing and the automotive industry—a combination that has strengthened my ability to listen, problem-solve, and truly care about the people I serve. I was introduced to the insurance industry in June of 2025 while shopping for coverage for my own small business. Through that process, I connected with the Weedin Agency team, fell in love with their values and approach to client service, and soon joined the agency myself.

What excites me most about my role is being a trusted resource for our customers and the Colorado community. Insurance can feel overwhelming, and I’m passionate about helping clients understand their options, feel supported, and make confident decisions about protecting their families, businesses, and assets.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading and spending time with my daughters, Mia and Zoe. I also love cooking for friends and family—nothing makes me happier than gathering people together over a home-cooked meal. On weekends, you’ll usually find me at home with a good fiction book or in the kitchen doing what I love most.
